Mount Teide, is situated 6200 ft above sea level. It is the highest point in Europe, making it the ideal location for high altitude training. TKO GYM is based in Tenerife, one of the few places true High Altitude training can take place. Mt. Tedie is the highest peak in Europe reaching close to 3000 meters above sea level. High altitude training must be at least 2200 to be effective. The flat terrains and excellent roads allow you to reach and train at these levels, making the location one of the best in the world for High Altitude preparation. TKO GYM Tenerife, is based at the base of Mt. Tedie, in the mountains of Chayofa. 20km from the airport, and close enough to all amenities. Our altitude camps will prepare any athletes for fourth coming events. High altitude runs, full on sight gym, and top class trainers will prepare you for a world class performance.  Oxford University return home and win the Varsity Match

 

Oxford University Boxing team who visited TKO in January return home and win varsity match for the first time in 3 years. Read a quote below from Captain Josh Fields.

 "As Captain of the Oxford University Boxing Team, I wanted to find a pre-season training camp abroad for the team in order to set us up for the 2 months of boxing that lay ahead. A small head-start in our battle against Cambridge. Yet 'small head-start' is not what we got; rather, the TKO gym provided an enormous platform for us to enhance our boxing skills, fitness and team bonding. Without the TKO gym, beach sprints and high altitude runs, we would not have been nearly as prepared as we were for our eventual 6-3 victory, our first in 3 years. Not only was the training magnificent, but the accommodation and local amenities were just what we needed, allowing for ideal recovery time. Those in charge, James and Terry were of great help,  I cannot praise TKO gym Tenerife enough. We'll definitely be back."
